Brazil star Neymar mentioned Mohamed Salah among the players he thinks has a chance to shine at this summer’s FIFA World Cup in Russia.
Asked which players he thinks will excel at the World Cup aside from himself, Argentina’s Lionel Messi and Portugal’s Ronaldo, he mentioned Brazilian teammates Coutinho and Gabriel Jesus before talking about Salah.
“Salah is a player who is not really on a traditional national team,” Neymar told ESPN Brazil.
“But he can have a good World Cup,” he added.
Neymar also mentioned Belgian duo Eden Hazard and Kevin de Bruyne, and Egypt’s Group A opponent – Luis Suarez of Uruguay.
“I hope these players do great, I hope they do wonderful. Just not against Brazil,” he said.
“There are a lot of great players who will be playing there since it’s the World Cup, so they are the best players in the world.”
