Egypt will be making some changes to the lineup that lost to Portugal in last Friday’s friendly, according to manager Héctor Cúper.
The Egypt manager confirmed in a pre-match press conference for Tuesday’s game against Greece that he wants to give playing time to those that didn’t participate in the 2-1 loss last week.
“We will give a chance to the players who haven’t participated with the team in the recent period,” Cúper said.
“There are also some who only participated for a few minutes, so it may be time to see them more against Greece.
“But we will maintain our strategy and our concentration because the game is important for us,” he added.
Tuesday’s friendly in Zurich is part of a five-match World Cup warm-up program that will take the Pharaohs right up to their June 15 World Cup opener against Uruguay.
