Egypt has added Kuwait to its slue of friendly matches in preparation for this summer’s FIFA World Cup finals in Russia.
The Persian Gulf nation has been added to Egypt’s May fixtures, after announcing last week that it would face Belgium.
This brings the number of confirmed World Cup warm-ups to four.
The Pharaohs take on Portugal and Greece next month in Zurich.
Egypt FA member Ehab Leheita says a third match may be added to the team’s May slate.
“We could face a team from South America too to get familiar with their style, since we are playing Uruguay in the opener,” he said.
Egypt is in Group A of the 2018 FIFA World Cup alongside hosts Russia, Uruguay, and Saudi Arabia.
