Egypt manager Héctor Cúper has called up 16 foreign-based players in preparation for the team’s final 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Ghana.
The Pharaohs have already booked their place at next year’s finals in Russia, but will likely use the match as a tune-up and opportunity to field some new faces.
The call-ups see the return of Atromitos attacking midfielder Amr Warda, along with Etoile du Sahel striker Amr Marei.
There are no major surprises in the group, though Al-Taawoun winger Mostafa Fathi has been left out due to injury.
The match is set for Nov. 12 in Kumasi.
