Uganda’s football association has raised ticket prices ahead of the team’s crunch 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Egypt.
Entry to national team matches is done in three seating tiers, now costing 30,000 UGX ($8.32), 70,000 UGX ($19.42), and 150,000 UGX ($41.61) respectively.
The previous prices were 25,000 UGX ($6.96), 50,000 UGX ($13.87), and 100,000 UGX ($27.74).
The price hike is meant to take advantage of ticket demand.
The match will take place in Kampala on Aug. 31.
Egypt leads Group E with six points, with Uganda just two points back.
The two face-off again in Alexandria on Sept. 5.
Ghana is also looking to climb back into contention, sitting on just a single point with back-to-back matches against Congo up next.
