70,000 fans will be allowed to attend Egypt’s all-important home World Cup qualifying showdown against Uganda, according to officials.
The announcement, made by Egypt Sports Minister Khaled Abdel-Aziz, means Alexandria’s Borg El Arab Stadium will be filled to near capacity for the match.
Kickoff is set for Tuesday, Sep. 5 at 8 PM local time.
The Pharaohs face another crunch qualifier against the same opponent five days prior in Kampala.
Egypt is looking to secure its first World Cup finals appearance since 1990.
